The Dark Knight Rises?

Greetings, brothers. I've been considering spriting a new Batman. Given the skill I've acquired editing other's works, I think my coding skills are considerable, but not elite.
After looking at how our brother DK took it off with Terry, I have been provided inspiration about Batman, and will also try to code from the ground up.
As my brother DK has used the resources at his fingertips, I have been granted usage by Spiderbat to use his old sprites. I may use some parts of him, but this one will be mostly my own work through a combination of sprite combination and editing to achieve the desired effects.
As I ponder creating a CROM Batman, I'm wondering, will anyone be able to help me jazz him up like DK did Terry? What kind of support could I get from the team, should this go through? And which style of shading would folks be most willing to help me in? Which style of shading do you guys think would be best?

These are questions I have been pondering, but their answers lie within yourselves. This seems to be the time of the Dark Knight. Perhaps, he will rise among the CROMs.
