in order to get a correct sized avatar you should do this.........

"profile" then go to "avatar" and then put the avatar link in the "Link to an off-site Avatar"

this should get you a full sized avatar and not a small version like so...

another thing you should know is that most avatars are in png format so if your avatar shows up in jpg format... its probally the incorrect version
