Violent Ryo

what up Crom bros n chicks out there (lol)

well i started working on my Ryo i had in mind for a long time since the release of V2. Always liked Ryo and i always been a fan of that AOF & KOF char. Figured to start more so showing all my progress here for the crom movement. Much love to my fellow mugen comrads out there but i gotta inject this Crom site with some more madness....

(I gave him his fathers knee strikes move. He never had that before in any game. I got sprite assistance to pull it off. a few of the sprites i had to do myself as far as how he looks grabbing the for strikes)


(And yes since after making this video i gave him Air Fireballs. weak.medium & Fierce)




The theme of this ryo is supposed to be a mix of Mr Karate and Ryo as far as moves and supers go. Dramatic characteristics of course and amplified. Lots of FX just like My Awakened Terry. Will he have a lot of Moves? Yes. Will he have as much supers as Awakened Terry? No. i doubt it But it will be a lot to enjoy in battle or even watch.

Those look really badass, Kai! On the first video, the shading on his pants where he does the stance has a funny animation. Even his feet. Change 'em Kai bro!

@Enso: yeah bro i been tweaked that on the animation right after i made the video there 8)

Heres another update.

1) Idle stance FX & Sound update towards the end of the video. (note that idle stance wont be there for long. its temp. Its truly supposed to be for his Max power stance)

2) Air fire balls (along with floor hit FX & sound)

3) Ive learned how to change the color of special FX now also on my own. The energy serges you see are now red. Before they were blue

4) And new aura animation i cooked up with Gimp. For his super fire attack youll notice it

(since after the video i recoded the time needed to go into IDLE stance. it took too long but
now its decent)

And I repeat. Awakened terry hasnt been forgotten about. hes being chipped at also
