We do need some bars made up as well a cool screenpack maker for the project that can have what i think would be cool with having a character selection for the playable and when selected then you get to chose the 1 Booster for your character and you can select the Booster for your AI partner.

I have been tinkering with a Level boss idea in a sprite. some will be big and others hard normal size-ish. The end boss will be ...Large! > . The main objective is to get from the start point and get to the final stage before moving on. at the end of each level to clear it you must storm the Enemy Bases to fight the level boss.

This is the idea i am having for the Norway stage boss. Militaristic of sorts for the end boss. but way much more work is being done so not final product, just a sample . needs more details as i get the concept of his look and how he will try to fight against you.



after i figure it out and with ideas as well from the crew and people the next thing will be standard enemy characters for the stage. #:-S

well here is a sprite edit that Volzilla gave us to use him in the game and as Shadaloo lives came up with the interesting idea ( an awesome one at that ! kudos bro!) so here is the animation i done so far for CVG reporter Volzzilla layin the details of the news intel on next mission in the game. what the plan shadaloo has is for him to be the reporter before every new mission he briefs you in on the latest findings and location. I will add much more frames to it for the dialog for him to be saying on the next missions.

my self sprite stance. working on other animations for him. this is the still stance for now. I had to redo my big ass head! lol.

this is my bike i made that i will ride to each new location. my intro basically. i pull up and hop off and start my rolling through the stages. still adding more details and fixing shadings to it as well and will have a animated pic of me riding it.

...you know, because every badass needs a bike bro.

i JUST DID Demonkai sprite for the game , he wanted a certain flvor to it and a bit a nostalgia. i used color scheme for his vest from The Peacekeepers dude and used Terry as a base. he will have a couple revised moves from his Awakened Terry as specials. When Kai decides which version ( i did 2 sets) he likes best i will show the sprite. I am about to fix Glux hand position as well for the sword today and then add in the sword later and get it prepped for the animation for the Booster move. Need some cool fx for the lightning .

I am also making a mockup for the character select screen with the character boxes for both playable and Boosters and will dish that off to Deviant -Gen for a really awesome graphical art deco touch added to it.

I wanted to show off some progress a bit on this Booster for Magma Dragoon. i edited his character to have the side door come down after he called out to come and do his area move and thinking of either his tank has a launcher come out and fire a round in the air and missle scatters come down and exlode on the ground , or a single missile launches out into the air and same thing happens with scatter shot grenades. something cool like that. lol. Let me know what ya think.

Crom The game is an Official project thats sideline of the ABR project. its on hold for awhile till ABR is close to done or of course we get our Bor programmers on deck. I just sprite on it and lead designer but i dont code Bor......yet. :twisted:
Its like the Crom Hangout stage.. a collaborative Bor game featuring Crom as playable characters and boosters. But as well the mugen community and friends have chimed in on it too . i think later i would love to have a one stage demo of the game done up to play and let everyone test it out when it gets back on track.

ok i got this track i think can use for the stge but its going to get remixed . My brother and other city rap artist Cash gonna hook it up with some vocal work and it flows nice. its not too much of rap or too soft. it hits pretty good too. so once finished should work well with the whole stage asnd girls dancing and the Crom laid back flow and yet partying style.

bro enso i already got you down if you can bro and help out when you got that free time. You have far more knowledge in openbor than me so def you and even doom i will hope to learn and moreso help out when you guys got time. Well, Lando. If you really want to learn about making OpenBOR games, I can make video tutorials out of it. :) 'Cause man, I already posted mine at Chrono Crash and Atlas. Vote for your learning preference for my making videos.

actually bro that would be awesome! and could post the vids here too in the thread for Bor tools and stuff. I really want to learn and plsu there are lots of questions i have about making certain things for it that i hope is doable . like having a main title screen that plays music track , like how mugen does. select screens and all that jazzy stuff. the more i know the more i can help with on bor projects and my own that i will do sometime in the future. any knowledge is helpful bro.

well while i was looking for some sprites to edit for the 2 stages i want to put myself in the Dojo stage as well so i looked at my Crom The game sprite self.....i dont like it . so i decided to redit myself into a better sprite and shading a bit better too.



and then went a did just a tad tiny touch up on my bike but wanna do more details to it later.



had to make it a bit more cleaner and to what i always wear... a hat! and the mouth mask is my goon style. lol  think i will do a lopt more with this and not just for Crom The Game. hehehe. future wip for Mugen after major projects are done.

yo i actually love your self sprite man! but hell if you want to redit it, then by all means bro...we got the time anyway so why not! 
My self sprite seriously needed the changes. My shading was awful and i messed up a lot of the proportions and details.  i did away with one of the leg straps and decided to redo the other one more justice and look better. It needed to be shaded better and look alot more smoother and clean.  i am doing some of the same things with my ABR wips sprites. lol.  

Oh and one of my homeboys already started the new Crom Banner logo. got the planet and the space already on it and now gonna add the glowing eyes and hand holding the earth.  I got C.R.O.M. interactive spelled on the drawing i done ...a quick idea skecth , going around the top part of the world. heheheh Cromdomination will be a hand someday! :twisted::twisted::twisted:

Its been awhile since posted on here about the project itself  which we may get a public demo rolling in sometime. 
The Idea:
3 or 4 playabel characters
5 boosters ( 4 are done in  sprite sheets)
1 area stage 
3 or 4 enemy types and one sub boss for the stage.

i started awhile back redesigning a couple boosters and including redone my Lando self sprite character. I should be finished for the public demo .  

Here is the early preview of redone Rage persona in the partial sprite frame for an area damage effect that Rage insisted on long ago. I have to figure out how to do the lower half and set in place the other 4 frames of animation for the Ab s booster area effect.  maybe spin around and fire either flamethrower like fire or shoot out fireballs. Its up to Rage on that and what to implement. Spidermew, Magma Dragoon, Rage and Doom ( G- Lux may be finished for it as well with Nx Men and Alan Joestar..his sheet is finished). will be included in the playable demo for area effect boosters. Might be a couple more as well.

ABR ( Anime Battle Royal ) is still getting done slowly with more new things getting done on the SP and as well with characters. I will resume more work on that during later in summer and after the summer  along with Crom The Game with new logo  for the Title Screen , I have selected a good title screen track for it  which will play throughout menu  as well. Depending how the rest will be sculpted that track will play throughout period. i have already some sounds provided by Crom Jodafro to use for it as well for cursor  for move, cancel and selection.

The stage to play might be the Norway stage  or the start off at Crom Mansion Headquaters. Before the actual demo is released there will be more sprites shown, some creenshots and of course ...footage when all is finally put together with the engine design.    Sorry for the long delay with work cause we are all in the community on other projects and Real life stuff but thank you for your patience everybody. 

Might try to  slide Acey in there somehow as either  booster or some kind of power up.

i decided to go and look at a lot more military stuff on Norway and chose to redo The Norwegian and base the better look from Axel Foley hand drawing artwork and will use him as a sub boss before you get this guy. he will be more of a fats assassin type military type. :

General Ragnar


his name means Strong Army according the to names of Norway i been researching for the project. Fits too. lol. he is the leader of this group based in Norway and resides on a base.  I wanted him to be much bigger in size and a bit more menacing and have that buff build. So i like the base choice very much. i am gonna add some more things on him ( and more details a bit and shade fixes with them)  like some kind of grenades on his belt cause he will toss those around as well that huge gun actually transforms from a small gun to this gun that can shoot 2 different kinds of things. a flamethrower and  energy blasts .  i will def need a cool voice actor for the guy for when he does some of these things and more , add some comedy in it too. if anyone got any cool ideas for some dialog post them up . maybe about 7 good lines for:

taunt
shooting flamethrower
tossing grenades
his rush strong punch
when he swings his gun
his power move he shoots with an even bigger gun and fires spread shots
 some lines for intros before the fight.

well i went back and redid The Norwegian sub boss of the Norway level, He the sub boss before General Ragnar. lol

The Norwegian Remake:

i will try to edit him a bit more with the Norway flag symbol on his shirt and see if i can get it more like its layered onto his clothes in right formation.  wrapping it a bit.

Concept about him:
he is the right hand man of General Ragnar and learned a lot from him but doesnt like to use Guns. He loves his Shield as his primary weapon.  he also throws daggers, does a rush charge with his shield across the screen at players and throw it too.  I have a few cool moves in mind for him as specials and i could use an idea for a  good big damage move.  So i will take ideas for these too.

Yay. That superhero-like dude The Norwegian is a bad guy! So is Ragnar. Ragnar the stage/level boss and The Norwegian the sub boss.

I spoke with DCL on desining his Booster character and he wanted something Jin Satome like. So i came up with an idea for his Booster character which i will add to this as his Booster Move. It will have DCL mcharacter on it as well ! lol

Sup uche bro. Yes the project as all the projects we doing and others works are still alive bro. I posted the sprite characters designs I done right before i got seriously ill and waiting now on surgery to be done. Once I am back to full health and back to my real life work and things done the require my attention in demand then I will be back to all projects full steam in my free time. Other good people's in the crew and helping out have their own projects as well and work with us and on them when they can. Not rushing anything cause it all a lot of work, new stuff and ideas are gonna be added and we all have RL to deal with first. . I love the hobby with a lot of passion but right now my health is my foremost issue. I ain't trying to die just yet! Lmao.
But until I the surgery done and back to normal I will be workin on things when I can. I text on cellphone now from bed on sites and jump on pc when my meds have me feeling good enuff to tackle some things. The project will keep coming as when we get more time to work on it bro. Lando don't do dead stuff lol
